Marcia Lura is a werewolf from The Howling novel and its sequel, Return of the Howling. In the 1981 movie adaptation, her name is changed to Marsha Quist, and the character is altered to be Max Quist's sister.

The novel[]
Marcia Lura is the shop keeper of the village (known as Drago in the novel) and like her film counterpart she is attracted to Karyn's husband (Named Roy Beatty in the novel). This, along with increasing tensions between Karyn and Roy leads to her having an affair with the latter. After a second erotic meeting , Marcia, in her wolf form attacks and bites Roy, turning him into a werewolf. After Karyn discovers that Drago is home to a werewolf colony, she shoots Marcia in the head with a silver bullet, presumably killing her.
The Howling II
Three years after the events at the Drago village, Marcia is revealed to have survived Karyn's silver bullet, having been nursed back to health by her new mate, Roy. This however left her unable to fully transform to her wolf form. In addition the bullet left a silver streak in her dark hair. Now Marcia seeks vengeance against Roy's former wife.
