Red Warn

Eating the brain of a wolf supposedly gives you the power of that animal. Except for the fact that wolves and Werewolves don't share enough genes or even can even transmit themin this way.

Red Warn

Drink from a lake where wolves have drank from recently or from a wolf's footprint. How this is supposed to work is again unfathomable.

Red Warn

Wearing a wolfskin whilst performing a ritual. Again, his fails to correspond with the salient genetic facts.

Tick

Wolfbane blooms. Werewolves should be qute sensitive to this.

Tick

Bitten by a werewolf. Remains slightly uncertain due to the recent nature of the myth.

Red Warn

Be cursed by someone. Fails on the grounds that Werewolves are not evil by default.

Red Warn

Enter a pact with a demon/the devil and do a deal so you give him/her your soul for you to be able to be a werewolf. Again, not evil by default.

Tick

Genetics. One of the few certainties.
